This original Avalon mid-century modern sideboard was made in Britain and is in excellent condition. It is a great size, not too big, not too small, with three drawers (top one has original cutlery dividers) and a drop down door cabinet with internal shelf.
It has been carefully hand-painted in a soft pale green mineral paint on each surface external surface. The original iconic handles and elegant legs have been highlighted with navy paint. The top and sides of the unit have been meticulously stencilled with a retro drop pattern, in three colours (navy, bronze and cream) to elevate this unit into a true retro statement piece. The sideboard has been protected with two coats of varnish. The inside original wood has been nourished with furniture salve.
This would make a stunning storage solution for any living room, dining room or hall. It is a classic retro piece with a contemporary edge.
