This original Nathan ‘Squares’ teak sideboard was made in Britain and is in excellent condition. It is a generous size with three drawers (top right has original cutlery dividers) and 3 cupboards, each with an internal shelf. The central cupboard has a pull down door that acts as a drinks surface.
It has been carefully restored and hand-painted with two coats of dark green mineral paint on all external surfaces and the inside has been nourished with furniture salve. The original metal ring handles have been highlighted with metallic gold paint. The bevelled edges of the iconic ‘squares’ design have been carefully highlighted in gold to elevate this unit into a true statement piece.
This would make a stunning storage solution for any living room, dining room or hall. It is a classic retro piece with a timeless elegance that will still be sought after in many more years to come.
