This retro record storage cabinet was made in Britain in the 1950s/60s by Mid Century furniture designer Herbert E Gibbs and is in excellent condition. The unit has been carefully hand-painted in coal black mineral paint and the distinctive legs and elegant original handles have been made to shine with gold paint. The piece is protected with three layers of finishing topcoat. The inside of the cabinet has been cleaned and polished but remains authentic with the original red record dividers and classification labels.
This vintage cabinet would make a great gift for anyone who loves their vinyl collection, or could easily be used as a bookcase, magazine rack or even a funky drinks cabinet. It is a small unit with two sliding doors, simple classic lines and would make a great addition to any room. MEASUREMENTS: Width: 66 cm (including legs) Depth: 40 cm Height: 71.5 cm
